Lunch Program
Aquinas Academy participates in the national school lunch program implemented by Aramark. Hot lunches may be purchased at the school cafeteria. A la carte items are available to students of all grade levels.
Students may take advantage of the reduced cost or free school lunch program by filing the appropriate application. Applications will be reviewed according to federal guidelines. Rules for acceptance and participation in the reduced cost or free program are the same for each student without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, handicap or religion.
Families will receive a menu each month. The prices of milk and lunches are published in the September newsletter and on the monthly cafeteria menu. Students may purchase a strip of five tickets or pay daily for lunch. Milk may be purchased daily. Students who qualify may take advantage of the reduced cost or free school lunch program by filing the appropriate application form given in the first monthly envelope.
Forgotten Lunches
If a child forgets his or her lunch, the following procedure is in place. The child will receive a hot lunch ticket in the cafeteria. The child’s name is recorded in a book by the cafeteria personnel, and the child receives written notification to reimburse the cafeteria service as soon as possible.
