Aquinas Academy Governance
The governance structure of Aquinas Academy is directed by the trustees and Bishop. Mr. Benjamin Althof, interim principal, is the school administrator.
Working with the school administration is the Board of Trust administrators consisting of the pastors of the seven diocesan parishes. The appointed chairman of the Board of Trust Administrators is Rev. Msgr. Raymond E. Riffle, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. The School Advisory Council, which is parent representatives from the seven diocesan parishes, is appointed by the trustee upon the recommendation of the Board of Trust Administrators and the principal.
The Board of Trust Administrators and the principal are responsible for the mission, vision, business affairs and financial stability of Aquinas Academy subject to the limitations set forth by the bylaws and the declaration.
The purpose of the School Advisory Council is to promote and advance the mission of Aquinas Academy for the education and instruction of students in keeping with the laws and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
