The reading team is a fun way for fifth and sixth graders to read and meet with friends to talk about the books they read.. The team meets from October through May. The reading team competes in the Westmoreland Interscholastic Reading Competition and the Diocesan reading competition. For more information, contact moderators Jessica Brecht or Maria Cochenour.
Students in grades Kindergarten through 6 have the opportunity to participate in this after-school club. Students will learn how to play chess. For more information contact moderators Kate Mahoney or Luke Sassani.

Girl Scout Troop 21871 meets twice a month from 2:45 pm to 4:30 pm based on the academic calendar of Aquinas Academy.
There are currently 20 participants at four levels of participation: Daisies (kindergarten and grade 1), Brownies (grades 2 and 3), Juniors (grades 4 and 5), and Cadets (grade 6). Parent volunteers assist with the troop activities.
All levels complete service projects, Journeys, and badge work. Catholic and religious emblem awards are presented at various times throughout the year. More information will be forthcoming at the beginning of the academic year.
Each year, our drama guild performs a spring musical. Students in grades 4-6 are permitted to audition for individual roles, ensemble roles, or stage crew.
